A Fourth of July weekend turned heartbreaking for the Wilson family of Kingwood, Texas, after their camper was swept away by flash floods along the Guadalupe River near Kerrville. Amber and Jeff Wilson, along with their 12-year-old son Shiloh, had traveled to attend a youth rodeo when disaster struck. Jeff’s body was later found, while Amber and Shiloh remain missing.

Amber’s brother, John Dustin Ledford, took to social media to raise awareness, sharing photos of the family and their truck. As support poured in from across the state, search crews discovered the family’s truck in the floodwaters without the camper attached. Some of Shiloh’s belongings were located 13 miles downstream, renewing hope for more answers.
