Jase and Missy Robertson: A Story of Resilience

In 2002, when Missy discovered she was expecting their second child, she was overjoyed. She already had two sons whom she loved dearly, but this news brought an added sense of excitement. The miscarriage was a painful experience for Missy, both physically and emotionally. She opened up about the mental anguish of knowing that she had to go through a procedure to remove what could have been their child.

Tubal pregnancy, as she experienced, occurs when the embryo implants in the fallopian tube instead of the uterus, making it a challenging situation for any expecting parent.

Despite the heartache, Jase and Missy found solace in the hope of a new pregnancy. Soon after their loss, they discovered that they were expecting again, and this time, it was a baby girl they named Mia. However, the news was bittersweet because they knew that Mia would face her own challenges due to her congenital anomaly.

When Mia was born, Missy couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed by the difficulties they would face as a family. But Jase had a different perspective.
